Boldly Beloved
You’ve probably heard that God loves you before. Am I right? Every Sunday school lesson, church retreat, and worship song we sing tells us this fact. But how many of us actually believe it? How many of us live like we know God loves us? Or live like He really does?

This devotional is for any young woman who struggles to believe that God really, really does love her. Despite your shortcomings. Despite your failures. Despite your weaknesses. The God of the Universe created you and said, “Wow. This one is good.” He created you. He chose you. He purposed you. And he calls you beloved.

This devotion is to encourage you to boldly claim who you were created to be in Christ, to internalize His promises for you, and to reflect His image to the world around you. Every day, there will be an I AM statement with multiple verses to read and reflect on, as well as a Challenge and a Prayer. If you want a deeper understanding of who God created you to be and just how much He adores you, this devotional is for you.

In each day’s devotional, you’ll read an I AM statement. I chose to write it this way based on Moses’ encounter with God in Exodus 3 when God tells Moses His name is “I AM.” Genesis 2 tells us that we are made in God’s image, therefore we are made in the I AM’s image. We are the exact image of God, except sin has marred us and made us broken, so we don’t always reflect Him the way we should. This devotional is to encourage you to claim who you were created to be in Christ, to internalize His promises for you, and to reflect His image to the world around you.

Each day, there will be multiple verses to read and reflect on, as well as a challenge and a prayer. I would encourage you to read the verses and their context in your Bible, not just in this book. Don’t believe everything I write without investigating God’s Word for yourself. The daily challenges are for you to put into practice what the I AM statement of the day is. The prayer is a guide to what you can say to God, but please add your own words. My prayer is by the end of these ninety days, you’ll be more comfortable talking to God and reading His Word. And most importantly, you’ll be able to “grasp how wide and how long and how high and how deep the love of Christ is” (Ephesians 3:18 ESV ).
